COVID-19: Five Dead, 224 Confirmed Cases In Nigeria

Lagos accounts for six of the 10 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory and Edo have two cases each.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its most recent update on the Coronavirus pandemic has reported one more death and 10 more new infections.

NCDC in a tweet on Sunday said a total of 224 infections had now been recorded with five recorded deaths.

Lagos, it tweeted, accounted for six of the 10 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory and Edo had two cases each.

Lagos now has a total of 115 cases. The FCT has 45, while Osun now has 20.

In Oyo and Edo, the number of confirmed cases stands at nine each.

Akwa Ibom has five COVID-19 cases, while Bauchi has six.

Ogun and Kaduna have four cases each.

Enugu and Ekiti have two each.

Rivers, Benue and Ondo each has one recorded case.
