Foreign Affairs Minister, Onyeama Tests Positive For COVID-19

He said he had previously done the COVID-19 test three times and that the three results were all negative while this fourth one just returned positive.

The minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has tested positive for COVID-19.

Onyeama disclosed this via his twitter handle on Sunday and also said that he was going into isolation in a health facility, .

He said he had previously done the COVID-19 test three times and that the three results were all negative while this fourth one just returned positive.

“Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best,” Onyeama said.

The NCDC update on Saturday shows that the number of the Coronavirus Disease in Nigeria now stands at 36,107, with 14,938 patients discharged and 778 deaths recorded.
