NCDC Reports 64 New COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths

Lagos State contributed the most to the new count with 34 new cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 64 new cases in the country.

With this latest figure, Nigeria’s number of confirmed cases is now 1337.

The frontline health agency in the fight against the pandemic in its late night update on Monday disclosed that Lagos State contributed the most to the new count with 34 new cases.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded 15, while the rest was shared between Borno State with 11 cases, and Taraba and Gombe states which recorded two cases each. ‬
‪The NCDC also disclosed that total of 255 persons have now been discharged, while the number of deaths still remains at 40.
