Nigeria has recorded 8 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 89.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which made this known via its twitter handle on Saturday, Benue State recorded it first corona virus case.
Seven out of the new case were recorded in Lagos, while Benue recorded it very first coronavirus case, according to the NCDC.
The tweet read: “8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.
“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”
States that have recorded COVID-19 in Nigeria, so far, includes: Lagos, FCT, Enugu, Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Bauchi, Edo, Rivers and Benue.
