BREAKING: Ex-Customs CG, Dikko Is Dead

Before his death, he was facing trial for corruption charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Ex-Customs Controller-General Mr. Abdullahi Dikko Inde, a former Comptroller-General of Nigerian Customs Service, is dead.

The Interview learnt that the former Customs C-G, died on Thursday, in Abuja, after a long illness.
He was 60 years at the time of death.

Inde was the Controller- General of the Customs from 2009 to 2015.

He was born on 11 May 1960 in Musawa town, a local government area of Katsina State.

He joined the Nigerian Customs Service in 1988 and during the course of his career, served in various customs commands including Seme Border, Tincan Island Port, Apapa, Imo Command, Kaduna, Badagry Area Command, Investigation and Inspection Headquarters, Abuja Badagry Area Command.
