IBFD Appoints Oby Ezekwesili As Board Member

Dr. Ezekwesili’s appointment took effect from April 1, 2020.

International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), has appointed Dr. Oby Ezekwesili as a member of its Board of Trustees.

IBFD, a leading international provider of cross-border tax expertise, announced this in a press release on Wednesday.

Dr. Ezekwesili’s appointment took effect from April 1, 2020.

“IBFD is honoured to announce the appointment of Dr Oby Ezekwesili to the Board of Trustees, effective from 1 April 2020.

“As member of the Board of Trustees Dr. Ezekwesili will contribute to the oversight of IBFD’s expansion in developing economies, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in international organizations and capacity building, the statement said.

Dr. Ezekwesili once served as Vice-President of the World Bank’s Africa division and the Nigerian Minister of Education during Olusegun Obasanjo’s presidency.

She is also a co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement.
