COVID-19 Now In Niger, Anambra As Nigeria’s Total Hits 305

A total number of 58 person have been treated and discharged across the country while seven deaths have been recorded as a result of the pandemic.

COVID-19 Confirmed In Niger, Anambra As Nigeria’s Total Hits 305

Anambra and Niger states yesterday recorded one case of COVID-19 each, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has said.

The NCDC which also disclosed that 17 new cases have been confirmed across Nigeria, noted that the country’s new total has now climbed to 305.

According to NCDC, in its Friday Twitter update, stated that Lagos recorded eight new cases, Katsina recorded three new cases, Abuja recorded two, while Niger, Kaduna, Anambra and Ondo recorded one each.

The tweet also stated that a total number of 58 person have been treated and discharged across the country while seven deaths have been recorded as a result of the pandemic.

The tweet read, “Seventeen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 8 in Lagos, 3 in Katsina, 2 in FCT, 1 in Niger, 1 in Kaduna,1 in Anambra,1 in Ondo

“As at 09:30 pm 10th April there are 305 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 58 have been discharged with 7 deaths”.

COVID-19 has now been confirmed in 19 Nigerian states as follows; Lagos- 163, FCT- 56, Osun- 20, Oyo- 11, Edo- 12, Bauchi- 6, Akwa Ibom- 5, Kaduna- 6, Ogun- 4, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Benue- 1, Niger- 1, Anambra- 1, Delta-1, Ogun-7, Ondo – 2.
