New COVID-19 Cases Rise To 187

Gombe State and Federal Capita Territory (FCT) each had 19 new cases, Osun State had 10, Kaduna State had five, Borno State had three, while Ogun and Katsina states each reported two new cases.

Nigeria on Tuesday witnessed a slight increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases from previous days, the 187 infections.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily updates, reported no new deaths on Tuesday, the total number of confirmed cases now stands at 58,647.

49,937 patients have so far been discharged and the death toll from the pandemic stands at 1,111.

Lagos State reported the highest number of new cases with 74 infections.

It was followed by Plateau and Rivers states with 25 new cases each.

Nasarawa, Bayelsa and Edo states each reported a single case of the Coronavirus Disease.
