Nigeria Records 643 New Cases Of COVID-19

The update by NCDC showed that 19 states reported new cases with Lagos recording the highest number of infections at 230.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday reported 643 new cases of COVID-19, six more deaths and 207 patients discharged from hospital.

The toll from the Coronavirus disease now 760 from a total of 34,259 confirmed infections and 13,999 total discharged.

The update by NCDC showed that 19 states reported new cases with Lagos recording the highest number of infections at 230.

Oyo State was second with 69 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was third on the list with 51 cases.
Edo State had 43 cases.

In Osun State, there were 35 new cases, 30 each in Rivers and Ebonyi states, 28 in Kaduna State, 27 in Ogun State, 23 in Ondo State and 20 in Plateau State.

Benue State had 17 new cases Enugu State had 16, Imo State had 10, Delta State had six, Kano State had four, Nasarawa State had two new cases while Kebbi and Ekiti states had one each.
