Presidential Aide, Louis Odion Congratulates Ize-Iyamu On Edo APC Ticket

Ize-Iyamu defeated Pius Odubu in direct primaries polling 27,388 votes to his challengers 3,776 votes in results announced by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.

The Senior Technical Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media, Louis Odion has congratulated Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for winning the APC governorship primaries in Edo State on Monday.

Odion said, “With his victory, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has demonstrated a capacity to unite APC in Edo behind a common purpose. Doubtless, he will lead APC to victory in the governorship polls on September 19.”

Ize-Iyamu defeated Pius Odubu in direct primaries polling 27,388 votes to his challengers 3,776 votes in results announced by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.

Uzodinma said, “Iyamu having scored highest in the primary election is hereby returned candidate of the APC in the coming governorship election.

“This election is one of the most clinically exercised in the history of elections in Nigeria. This state which originally belongs to the APC will return to the APC after the governorship election.”
