Nigeria Records 176 New Cases Of COVID-19

The number of discharged cases now stands at 1472, while 176 deaths have so far been recorded from the pandemic that has now touched almost every state of the federation.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday reported 176 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

The total number of confirmed cases is now 5621.

The number of discharged cases now stands at 1472, while 176 deaths have so far been recorded from the pandemic that has now touched almost every state of the federation.

Lagos has continued to record the highest number of daily cases with 95 on Saturday. It was followed by Oyo whete 31 new cases were reported. The FCT had 11 new cases while Niger and Borno had eight cases each.

There were six new cases in Jigawa, four in Kaduna, three in Anambra, two each in Edo, Rivers, Nasarawa and Bauchi, while Benue and Zamfara had one case each.
