COVID-19: Lagos State Government Begins Fumigation

The governor said the fumigation was to keep the environment safe and curb the spread of Coronavirus.

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the commencement of fumigation of the entire state.

Sanwo-Olu made this announcement via his official twitter handle on Thursday, saying its purpose was to keep the environment safe and curb the spread of corona virus.

He said, “To ensure we keep our environment safe and curtail the contagion of #COVID19, we are deploying disinfectant equipment to fumigate the entire state.

“These fumigation machines, will be deployed to every part of the metropolis for sterilization of our public spaces & surfaces.”

Meanwhile, six patients among those infected with the virus in Lagos are said to have recover from the deadly virus.
