Yagazie Eguare: Rules With The Lens

Yagazie Eguare

Yagazie Eguare, an award-wining photographer at Gazmadu Studios, is one woman who has shown that a woman will always achieve anything she sets her mind on.

While most women prefer to pose for pictures, Eguare’s passion is handling the camera to capture moments.  And through her lens, Eguare capture moments, chronicle events, and tell stories in a memorable manner that resonates.

Eguare’s foray into photography started at The Future Enterprise Support Scheme (TFESS). She became a professonal in wedding documentary and portrait photographer in 2013. Five years down the line, with passion to be the best, she has made a good career for herself and grown into a reputable photographer.

Last year came with a good reward for Eguare. She won The Edwin George Prize for Photography amongst other male nominees, proving that her career success is not based on media hype, but on the quality of her works.
