Adebayo Oke-Lawal: Trending in Menswear

Adebayo Oke-Lawal is one of the pioneers of modern menswear designs in the Nigerian fashion and style industry. At 10, Oke-Lawal began his foray into the fashion and styling industry, sketching designs for a store in East London.

With consistency and passion, he has pursued his dreams in clothing designs and styling, becoming famous for his creative menswear designs. No wonder, his designer’s label, Orange Culture, has dictated styles and trends when we talk about menswear in Nigeria.

While his designs have been featured in Financial Times, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and Voice of America, Oke-Lawal has styled renowned celebrities, including Kate Henshaw and Rita Dominic, among others.

He’s also gaining recognition on the international scene. In 2015, his design qualified, alongside four other indigenous labels, to represent Nigeria at the International Fashion Showcase in London.
