When the grandmaster of Lagos politics said he might be contesting in 2019 if President Muhammadu Buhari is not running, not a few thought he was grandstanding. Is Buhari running? Apart from Minister Rotimi Amaechi not many insiders can answer with a straight face. Anyway, from what we are hearing, the grandmaster of Lagos politics is oiling his wheels and calling in his favours. Please don’t ask us what will happen to his protégé at the top.
