When: January 18-31

Where: Australia

The best of the best in the sports of tennis would gather to battle it out for the number one position in the 2016 Australian Open scheduled to hold from the 18th to the 31st of January. While key players like Australia’s own Lleyton Hewitt’s would be making his 20th consecutive appearance, Serbian, Novak Djokovic would be working hard to draw levels with Roy Emerson’s six Australian Open titles. And the world’s favorite, Serena Williams would be looking to break the records of Steffi Graf’s Open era tally of 22 and Margaret Court’s 24 majors, to become the first to win most grand slam of any man or woman in the history of the game. Other players to look out for are Roger Feerer, the only one who could get close to Djokovic in 2015, and Andy Murray who is all too willing to abandon the tournament to be present at the birth of his first child should his wife go into labour in the course of the event.
