COVID-19: This’s Tough, Trying Period For My Family, Atiku’s Son Crys Out

The former vice president had, on Sunday, announced that one of his sons had tested positive for Coronavirus.

Adamu Atiku, one of the sons of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to pray for his brother who tested positive for Coronavirus, saying it was a trying period for the Atiku family.

Adamu, who’s Commissioner for Works and Energy Development for Adamawa State made this statement on twitter, urging people to wash their hands and do all they can do to stay safe and curtail the pandemic.

He said, “This is a tough and trying period for my family and I as my brother has tested positive to coronavirus. As my Dad @atiku stated in his tweet @NCDC has been notified, and he is being treated and monitored at Gwagwalada Teaching Hospital Abuja.

“I ask that you keep him in your prayers. We are facing a great global threat to humanity but we can overcome it as long as we stay united. Please do what you can to stop the spread of the pandemic. Wash your hands, Stay safe and be compliant.”
