A former American president, Barack Obama, on Wednesday urged the public to protect themselves from Coronavirus with common sense precautions.

Obama, who made this statement via his official twitter page, said it was important for people to listen to located health authorities.

Listing some precautionary steps to take, Obama urged people to wash their hands, stay home when they are sick and listen to instructions from health authorities.

He said, “Protect yourself and your community from coronavirus with common sense precautions: wash your hands, stay home when sick and listen to the @CDCgov and local health authorities.

Obama also added that face masks should be used by only health workers and that
people should stay calm and not panic.

“Save the masks for health care workers. Let’s stay calm, listen to the experts, and follow the science,” he said.
