Aisha Bello: Modeling Her Way to Global Stardom

As a child, Aisha Bello, a model of international repute, has always loved to be a model. Grabbing the first opportunity that came her way, she won Nigeria’s Next Super Model 2009, announcing her arrival in the modeling world.

For Bello, Nigeria’s Next Super Model 2009 prize was the platform that opened her doors of opportunities in both the international and local modeling business. At 24, Bello seems to have seen it all in modeling. She has done runway jobs at New York fashion week, DC fashion week, London fashion week, Mercedes Benz fashion week in Malta, Berlin, and Cape Town.

She proved that her success at the Nigeria’s Next Super Model 2009 awards was no fluke when she went on to beat renowned Nigerians, including former Miss World, Agbani Darego, and Lagos top fashion designer, Yomi Casuals, to win The Future Awards Prize in Fashion & Style  2013.

That the glamour and pressure that come with her being a super model of international repute has not distracted her pursuit of education makes her not just a model, but a role model to her folks out there.
