The Kogi State Governor, Mr. Yahaya Bello, has lashed out at those calling for him to take a COVID-19 test, saying his haters will have HIV.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi State chapter, had called on Bello to take a COVID-19 test because he had had contact with Chief of Staff to the president, Aba Kyari, who tested positive for Corona Virus on Tuesday.
However, in a short video on social media, Bello said he had not been infected with the COVID-19 and that those wishing he contracts it would contract HIV.
He said, “I have no COVID. Those who wish me to have COVID will have HIV. I am good, hale and hearty. I challenge everybody to the boxing ring”.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi and Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, have both taken COVID-19 tests because they had contact with Aba Kyari.
