Nigeria’s new Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru, is dead.
Confirmed reports from different sources say that the army chief who was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in January died in a plane crash on Friday in Kaduna while on an official trip to the state.
He was said to have died with his aides in the crash.
