Nigerian veteran Nollywood actor and former broadcaster, Sadiq Daba is dead.
Reports say that the actor who has been battling cancer for some years now, passed on Thursday evening from complications of the disease.
His battle with cancer which started in 2017 saw many Nigerians, including Billionaire Femi Otedola, Soni Irabor, among others rally round to provide funds to foot his medical bills.
Before then, he had won Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as “Inspector Waziri” in October 1 in 2015.
The late actor who worked as a broadcaster for Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) was best known for his role as Bitrus in Cockcrow at Dawn.
He had his secondary education at St. Edward’s Secondary School and got higher degrees in many institutions including Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
