FG Launches COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Portal

The Federal Ministry of Health in collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has officially launched the registration platform for COVID-19 Vaccination in Nigeria.

The Electronic Management of Immunization Data (EMID) Registration Portal as described on its website, captures data and schedules for COVID 19 vaccination and it says registering on the portal will make your vaccination easier and faster.

During the live broadcast on NTA, in Abuja on Monday, the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said the launch was strategic in the effective and smooth delivery of the vaccines to Nigerians.

“It is the launching of the T.E.A.C.H Strategy for COVID-19 Vaccination and Electronic Management of Immunization Data (EMID) as a very important activity to assure Nigerians of our readiness to roll out the COVID-19 vaccination campaign smoothly.”

“The introduction of the electronic management of immunization data is critical to addressing challenges with integrity and quality data and ultimately, primary health care data.” he stated.
