Nigeria Records 125 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday reported 125 new cases of COVID-19 infections in 13 states of the federation.

The total number of confirmed cases has now risen 57,849, with 49,098 patients discharged.

The total number of deaths according to the NCDC update remained at 1,102 from the previous day.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of new cases with 37 infections, followed by Plateau State, which had 18.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had 17 new cases, Ogun State had 15, Rivers State had 10, Benue and Kaduna states had seven each while Anambra State five new cases.

In Oyo State, there were three new cases, two each in Cross River and Ondo states, and one each in Edo and Imo states.
