We’re Working With Police To Bring Uwa’s Killers To Book – Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of Redeemeed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has condemned the killing of Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, and said the church is cooperating with the police to bring her killers to book.

Omozuwa, a 22-year-old 100-level Microbiology student of University of Benin (UNIBEN) was raped and murdered in a branch of RCCG, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill, Benin where she went to read during the weekend.

This has triggered public outrage with many Nigerians trending #JusticeForUwa.

Reacting to murder, the RCCG in a statement on Sunday condemned the killing and and also reiterated its commitment to cooperate with relevant authorities on the ongoing investigation into her death.

The General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday via his twitter handle also said the church would do everything possible work with relevant authorities to bring the killer of Omozuwa to book.
