276 More Nigerians Test Positive For COVID-19

There are now a total 8,344 confirmed cases of the disease in Nigeria, 2385 patients have recovered, while the death toll has risen to 249.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday reported 276 new cases of covid-19 in 15 states of the country.

There are now a total 8,344 confirmed cases of the disease in Nigeria, 2385 patients have recovered, while the death toll has risen to 249.

Lagos State had the highest number of cases with 161. Rivers State was next with 36 new cases, Edo had 27 new cases, Kaduna recorded 19 new cases and Nasarawa reported 10 cases while Oyo had six cases.

Four new cases were reported in Kano, three each in Delta and Ebonyi, and Gombe had two cases.

Ogun, Ondo, Borno, Abia and Bauchi all had one case each.
