NCDC Reports 1,052 New Cases Of COVID-19 In 4 Days

NCDC on Monday said the number of deaths from COVID-19 disease stands at 233, while 2,311 people have been discharged.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday reported 229 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

In just four days number of new cases has risen by 1,052 with the total number confirmed now 8,068.

NCDC on Monday said the number of deaths from COVID-19 disease stands at 233, while 2,311 people have been discharged.

Lagos reported the highest number of new cases at 90.

Katsina was next with 27 new cases, while Imo had 26.

Kano had 23, FCT 14 and Plateau 12.

Ogun reported nine new cases, Delta had seven, Borno and Rivers each had five, while Oyo had four.

Gombe reported three new cases, there two in Osun and one each in Anambra and Bayelsa.
