Nigeria Records 313 New Cases Of COVID-19, 148 In Lagos

Nigeria now has 7,839 confirmed cases of COVID-19, however, 2,263 of the patients have fully recovered and also discharged from the different treatment centres.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday reported 313 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country with 148 of the cases being in Lagos.

The NCDC also reported five new deaths making a total of 226 people who have lost their lives to the pandemic.

Nigeria now has 7,839 confirmed cases of COVID-19, however, 2,263 of the patients have fully recovered and also discharged from the different treatment centres.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded 36 new cases.

27 in Rivers, 19 in Edo, 13 in Kano, 12 in Ogun, 11 in Ebonyi, eight each in Nasarawa and Delta, while seven cases were reported in Oyo.

In Plateau, there were six new cases, five were also reported in Kaduna, four in Kwara, three each in Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa, two in Niger and one in Anambra.
