Dokpesi, Daughter-In-Law, 3 Other Family Members Test Positive For COVID-19

This is coming just just a week after his son and current chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr, tested positive and was taken away to the isolation centre at Gwagwalada.

At least five members of the founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Chief Raymond Dokpesi’s extended family have tested positive for COVID-19.

This is coming just a week after his son and current chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr, tested positive and was taken away to the isolation centre at Gwagwalada.

According a statement by the management of DAAR Communications those confirmed to have tested positive include Chief Dokpesi himself, his daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and some other relatives living with them.

The statement said that following the test that was carried out on Raymond Dokpesi Jnr on Thursday April 23, 2020 by the NCDC which eventually proved positive and his subsequent admission into the isolation centre on Friday April 24, 2020, other members were also tested.

It read, “We wish to state that in conformity with the Federal Government protocol on the COVID-19 administration and management, his entire household and those that had contact with him were subsequently subjected to the test and with so much emotional pains, we hereby announce that the underlisted have equally been confirmed positive:

High chief Aleogho Dokpesi (His Father/ Founder DAAR Communications PLC), our chairman’s wife, his three children and some relatives.”

They have been admitted to the Federal Government isolation centre at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada in Abuja.
