COVID-19: Five More Deaths As Nigeria Records 91 New Cases

The NCDC in its daily update at 11.50pm on Sunday also noted that while the number of those who have now died in Nigeria from COVID-19 is 40, a total of 239 persons have recovered and also discharged.

Five more persons in Nigeria died of COVID-19 related complications on Sunday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has said.

Nigeria also recorded 91 new confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 1273.

The NCDC in its daily update at 11.50pm on Sunday also noted that while the number of those who have now died in Nigeria from COVID-19 is 40, a total of 239 persons have recovered and also discharged.

The breakdown of the 91 new cases is as follows: 43-Lagos, 8-Sokoto 6-Taraba 5-Kaduna 5-Gombe 3-Ondo 3-FCT 3-Edo 3-Oyo 3-Rivers 3-Bauchi 2-Osun 1-Akwa Ibom 1-Bayelsa 1-Ebony1 and 1-Kebbi.
