The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 117 new cases of COVID-10, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 783.
NCDC late on Tuesday also confirmed the number of deaths from the pandemic to be 25, while the number of people discharged rose from 188 to 197.
According to the Tuesday update, 59 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 29 were in the federal capital territory, while 14 were reported in Kano.
Borno, a recent entrant to the list of states with confirmed cases reported six, has new ones, while four were recorded in Katsina.
There were three confirmed in Ogun, and single cases in both Rivers and Bauchi.
The total number of cases in Lagos now stands at 430. FCT now has 118 confirmed cases, while Kano has 73 cases.
