The Nigerian minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has met with the Chinese ambassador to Nigeria over reports of maltreatment of Nigerians in China.

Onyeama, who made this known via his twitter handle, on Friday, said he had met with the Chinese ambassador in Nigeria to communicate Nigerian government’s concern over reports of mistreatment of Nigerians in China.

A twitter user, Oluyemi Fasipe, had reported the maltreatment of Nigerians in China, to Mr. Onyeama, saying “Hello @GeoffreyOnyeama, In case you are not aware, I want to bring to your attention the inhumane conditions Nigerians are being subjected to by China authorities.
