Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Reach 151 With 12 New Confirmations

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed nine new cases of Coronavirus in Osun, two in Edo and one in Ekiti.

In total, the NCDC confirmed 12 new cases on Wednesday with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 151.

According to NCDC, nine people who had previously tested positive to the coved-19 pandemic have now been discharged from isolation and treatment centres.

The death toll, NCDC said, remains at two.

It said in a tweet, “Twelve new cases of COVID-19?have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State. As at 12:30pm, 1st April, there are 151 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.”

Lagos has the highest number of confirmed cases with 82.

The Federal Capital Territory has 28.

Osun has 14 confirmed cases, Oyo eight, Ogun and Edo have four each.

Kaduna has three cases while Enugu, Bauchi and Ekiti each have two.

Rivers and Benue each have one recorded case.
