Benue Records First Case Of COVID-19 As Nigeria’s Total Now 89

‪Nigeria has recorded 8 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 89.

According to the ‪Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which made this known via its twitter handle on Saturday, Benue State recorded it first corona virus case.

‪Seven out of the new case were recorded in Lagos, while Benue recorded it very first coronavirus case, according to the NCDC. ‬

The tweet read: “8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”

States that have recorded COVID-19 in Nigeria, so far, includes: Lagos, FCT, Enugu, Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Bauchi, Edo, Rivers and Benue.
