COVID-19: Osinbajo To Coordinate Efforts Across 36 States.

The National Economic Council (NEC), on Thursday, set up a committee to coordinate the measures introduced by each of the states to work in liaison with the federal government.

The committee is chaired by the Vice-President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

The vice president also presided over the NEC meeting attended by the state governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to State House correspondents, after the NEC meeting, that the committee, “The VP is the chairman of this committee that has been appointed by NEC on coronavirus.

“It will be looking at all the measures put in place by government at the various levels”.
