The Supreme Court has dismissed the application of Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to review and set aside its judgement of January 14 which declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress as the rightfully elected governor of Imo State.

Justice Kayode Ariwoola while reading the judgement, declared that there was no constitutional powers for Supreme Court to sit in appeal over its decision.

“The Justices of this court are fallible, but their decisions are infallible. This court does not have the competence to review itself,” he stated.
