Grammy 2020: Burna Boy Loses To Angelique Kidjo

Burna Boy’s African Giant got nominated in ‘Best World Music category’ for albums containing at least 51 per cent playing time of new vocal or instrumental World Music recordings.

Kidjo defeated Burna Boy and other nominees in her category to win her fourth GRAMMY award.

Nigerian musician, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy lost his first chance to win a Grammy award.

The 28 year old musician lost to Beninese music legend, Angelique Kidjo, at the 62nd Grammy Awards which held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
