President Buhari Calls Jonathan Over Gunmen Attack

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday called former President Goodluck Jonathan to sympathise with him over the gun attack in his home in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

Gunmen had stormed the home of Jonathan in the early hours of Tuesday, killing three soldiers in the process.

Buhari had in a post on Twitter revealed he had reached out to his predecessor, Jonathan, in order to sympathise with him.

He said, “I telephoned former President Goodluck Jonathan to sympathize with him on the tragic and unfortunate attack by gunmen on his country home. May the soul of the gallant soldier who died in the attack rest in peace.
